To celebrate my birthday and my husband's birthday, we took an epic trip to Monterey, Yosemite National Park, and Pinnacles National Park for 10 days at the end of May and beginning of June. To better acquaint myself with these places, I set out to read some books set in these locations (I didn't get through many prior to traveling, oops). When we got there, we had a lot of driving time, and I convinced Christopher to listen to a thriller on audio - spoiler alert, it was incredible.
