How I Use an Angle Grinder Cut-Off Wheel in My Glass Studio | Tool Talk Week 7
Tool Talk is back, and Brown Sugar wanted in on the conversation. In this episode of Tool Talk, I’m sharing one of the more unusual tools in my glass studio: a metal cut-off wheel on an angle grinder. This very thin fibrous wheel helps me cut round shapes and form the small pedestal base for a glass sculpture. This is not a standard glass studio tool, so safety matters. I’ll be using proper protective clothing and safety gear while working with this modified setup. If you enjoy behind-the-scenes glass art process videos, studio tool demos, and learning how fused glass sculptures come together, this one is for you. I’ll share the finished piece later — for now, here’s a look at how the base was made and how a few creative tools help bring a sculpture to life. @anniemariedesign
