100m Resistance Training Focusing On First 2 Steps.

This video shows an exercise that focuses on improving the switching action of the arms and legs simultaneously. A long elastic band will be needed alongside a training partner holding it to provide the proper resistance. Though it may appear as if 3 steps are being taken, the focus is only on the first two. The third step only serves as breaking action or catching yourself and go again. The distance to be considered is over 10 meters. When mastered this will result in an explosive start which will set the athlete up to an even more explosive drive phase.
