Pioneer SX-550 Receiver Repair I - No Sound Outputs
This is the first time I have ever dealt with the issue of the AF Muting circuit in a Pioneer Receiver. The Muting amp was working fine but the solder joints under power connecting pins had bad contact which caused the unit inoperable. By using the signal generator and oscilloscope, I was able to isolate and find the problem. I hope this video will help other DIY fans to repair their SX-550 with the same issue.
