First Concrete Section Completed at Tetteh Quarshie Interchange Expansion

Massive progress is now visible at the ongoing expansion works at the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange in Accra, Ghana. During this latest site visit, contractors have almost completed the concrete casting on the new expansion lanes heading toward Lapaz and Kasoa, while work has now shifted to the opposite side toward Tema where engineers are preparing and laying more massive T-beams. For the first time, commuters can clearly see the shape of the new expanded flyover taking form. The project forms part of the larger Accra–Tema Motorway Expansion aimed at increasing the motorway from 4 lanes to 10 lanes in order to reduce traffic congestion and improve transportation across the capital city.
