Waste -- A Lucrative Business | Made in Germany
37 million tonnes of waste are produced by German households every year, and for the past two decades they have been separating it themselves. The yellow bin is for packaging, the blue one for paper, and so. But recently a new container was been added to the line-up.A place to toss old toasters, pans or discarded dolls -- because disposal companies have come to realize there are plenty of valuable raw materials in the household trash.
