President Trump has threatened to step up strikes on Iran and said he’ll hold the country responsible for any further attacks by the Yemen-based Houthis on Red Sea ships, potentially widening US involvement in the Middle East war. Republican Senator Todd Young of Indiana says those new threats in the Red Sea have created a second shipping chokepoint alongside the Strait of Hormuz, raising risks for energy markets.
