Gahuti Trail: Fort Mt SP

Today’s adventure takes me into NW Georgia, to Fort Mountain State Park. It’s been a few years since I’ve run the full Gahuti Trail, and the weather seemed nice enough. The trail is roughly 9 miles long, with approximately 3000 feet of elevation gain. It offers up some great views, a few waterfalls, a fire tower, and a rock wall built by some mysterious people. This is what I like to consider an adventure run. These runs are for enjoyment. A couple of good hours in the mountains a month make the repetitive road running achievable. #fortmountainstatepark #firetower #elijah
