🌾 BRAUK - A GRATITUDE FROM LEWOLO A cinematic documentary from the heart of eastern Flores culture, which records the spiritual wealth and local wisdom of the indigenous people of Lewolo Village, Kalike Aimatan Village, South Solor. What is Brauk? Brauk is an annual traditional ritual carried out by the Landlord together with the indigenous people of Lewolo Village as an expression of gratitude for the harvest and the blessing of rain. This ritual is the culmination of a long series of caring for the rain—a tradition in which the Landlord fasts for six months to maintain the balance of nature so that the land does not dry out, and agricultural life remains fertile. The purpose of the Brauk ritual is to maintain harmony between humans, ancestors, and the universe. This is not just a cultural heritage, but a form of spiritual communication that unites prayer, tradition, and gratitude in one traditional breath. 📍 Location: Lewolo Traditional Village, Kalike Aimatan Village, South Solor District, East Flores Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. 🎬 Directed by: Leonard Wokal 📷 Presented by: Vibes Nusantara This video is a form of respect for local culture and an effort to preserve the wisdom of our ancestors which is full of meaning and life values.
