My First OFFICIAL Kayak Tournament | Yak-A-Bass Stop 1 | Lake McClure

This was my first ever kayak bass fishing tournament with Yak-A-Bass, and it’s safe to say I learned a lot. Lake McClure is a new lake for me, and going up against 60+ anglers made it even more challenging — but I was able to put together a solid day and finish 8th out of 63 anglers. In this video, I take you through the entire day on the water: • Tournament strategy and approach • What patterns I focused on • Key adjustments throughout the day • The fish that helped secure a Top 10 finish For a first event, I couldn’t have asked for a better learning experience. If you’re thinking about getting into kayak tournaments, this is a great look at what it’s like from start to finish.
