Hulunbeier City is located in the northeast of Inner Mongolia. Most of the Mongols living here belong to the Balhu and Buryat tribes. In the wedding shot in this film, Qibuqin Naheya, the bride, is a Balhu Mongol, and Huasai Sderbu, the groom, is a Buryat Mongol. The wedding is a marriage between the two tribes. It not only presents the traditional folk songs, costumes, food, beliefs and other cultures of the two tribes, but also symbolizes the communication and unity between the tribes. The complete wedding ceremony is divided into three parts: engagement, grassland wedding ceremony and ending part. This film mainly recorded the grassland wedding ceremony as the climax of the wedding, as well as the previous farewell ceremony hosted by the bride's relatives and the welcoming ceremony hosted by the groom's relatives.
