One of the first tracked tractors in Russia, the FENDT 943 Vario MT, has been working for several years on a farm in the Republic of Bashkortostan! Last fall, I had the opportunity to visit it at work in the field. This tractor, coupled with a LEMKEN Diamant 11 semi-mounted plow, was plowing fallow land. I had the opportunity to ride with the operator and ask him a few questions about this tractor and the work it does. One of its most notable features is its 7-cylinder AGCO Power engine producing 430 hp.
