Experience the action on the water during the Winter Races on the Kagerplassen near Warmond! From October through March, sailors of various classes come together for a challenging winter competition. Whether you sail in an open class or a cabin yacht, the Kaag offers a unique spectacle every month. In this video, you can see the highlights of the races, the tactical maneuvers at the buoys, and the convivial atmosphere afterwards in the clubhouse. 2025/2026 Race Calendar The races take place once a month. Mark the following dates in your calendar: October 12 (First start) November 9 December 14 January 11 (Combined with the New Year's reception!) February 8 March 8 March 15 (Reserve day) Important Information Participation: Open to all cabin yachts and open classes. Start time: The first start is at 11:00 AM. Program: Two starts per race day for all classes. Safety: In severe weather, the race director may decide to allow only cabin yachts to start.
