At the end of the video, it says that if you replace it with a 2-circuit 2-contact general-purpose switch, it will... but it is a 2-circuit 1-contact general-purpose switch. Sorry. This is the washing machine that I used to wash the washing tub. It is a fully automatic washing machine, Mitsubishi MAW-N8YP. The power is cut off in the middle of the operation. I have been using it for about 10 years, so it has broken down. No error code is displayed, and the power is suddenly cut off completely without any sound during operation and stops. At first, it only turned off when the spin cycle started during the fully automatic process, but gradually it turned off and on with a slight vibration, so I think it may be a poor contact of the power switch. I took it apart a little and looked at the power switch. Unplug the power cord and remove the operation panel. If you pry the cover with a flathead screwdriver, you can see the fixing screws of the panel, so remove them with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove these two and you can remove the control panel. It's pretty easy. There is a switch on the right side. It's just placed there. When you remove this, you can see something that looks like burnt black soot. It looks like sparks are occurring at the switch contacts, creating oxides, and the powder is stuck to the area. The switch is not sealed, so you can see the contacts. Turn on the power and observe. The contact on the left side has a protrusion and is in firm contact, but the protrusion on the right side has worn down and is almost gone. There is a beep sound every now and then, but that is the sound of the power being turned on. The buzzing sound is due to sparks occurring at the contact on the right side. Normally, the switch should be replaced, but since the contacts are exposed, we will make a temporary repair for now. Spray CRC556 on the contact on the right side to wash away the metal oxide that has accumulated on the contact surface. Wipe the contact area with a cotton swab. Black powder will adhere to it. Repeat several times to clean it. There is almost no protrusion of the contacts, so bend the metal plate underneath with pliers to make as firm a contact as possible. Apply power and check. You will hear a beep when the power is turned on, and there will be no sparks. For now, it's fixed. It will not become unstable. Return the switch to its original position and the emergency repair is complete. This repair is only an emergency measure. The fundamental solution is to replace the power switch. The minimum parts retention period for washing machines is 6 years after production ends. As this is a model that is about 10 years old, parts may not be available. If parts are not available, I think it would be fine to modify it a bit and attach a general-purpose 2-circuit 1-contact switch.
