📍 Skip to the main address: 07:25 On the occasion of World Refugee Day 2026, Hindu Samman Foundation organised a humanitarian policy programme at the Pak Hindu Refugee Camp, Majnu Ka Tila, New Delhi, where we made a historic appeal for Refugee Status and a National Refugee Policy for persecuted Hindu and other Indic minority communities who have sought refuge in India. During the programme, HSF formally submitted a 77-page World Refugee Day Policy Memorandum for the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India through the Delhi Police. The memorandum is the result of years of humanitarian work, extensive field visits, legal research and policy analysis conducted while working with refugee communities across Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat and West Bengal. In my address to the Hon'ble Prime Minister, I explain why refugee recognition is not only a humanitarian necessity but also an important step towards stronger governance, better documentation and dignified rehabilitation of persecuted refugee families. The event was further blessed by the presence of Shri Arun Yogi Ji from Manav Mission Trust, who appreciated the humanitarian work being carried out by Hindu Samman Foundation and expressed his support for this mission.
