I was told we’re just going for a “blood test,” but when I reached the hospital they inserted a line in my neck. That’s when I found out it wasn’t just a normal illness. It was kidney failure. At that moment, I froze. I didn’t even understand what that meant. I cried that day not from pain, but from fear. But after that day… I never cried again. Maybe because I had already accepted that this was Allah’s test for me. Soon, my fistula surgery was done, and regular dialysis became part of my life. Every session, every needle, every beep of the machine I started seeing them as my new normal. But what happened next… no one expected.
