Spring is finally here, it seems, and with it, a good bout of rain that has invigorated some low-water rivers! We went fishing again, near our home, in a small stream where we'd had some great lure fishing in the past. And the trout were difficult, certainly satiated following the rising waters. We had to fight and change lures often to hope to get a few bites with ultralights. But still, what a joy to be back with water in the rivers and streams we love to fish.
