Walking in the Rain through Boathouse Village | Ine, Japan 4K

Walking in the rain through the small historic fishing village of Ine, in Northern Kyoto Prefecture on the Sea of Japan coast at dawn. This village is famous for its traditional wooden boathouses and sees many tourists in better weather. This morning, with the wind whipped freezing rain there weren't too many people out and about as I walked the main street along the bay. The houses on the seaside are right on the water, with many of them having boat garages to sail in and out.
