Guam is CHANGING!! Guam is STRUGGLING!!

In this video, I am taking you on a live look at the current situation that is unfolding on the island. Right now, Guam is changing!! Guam is struggling!! Things are not looking very good, and the future doesn't seem to promise anything. If you didn't know, Guam was severely impacted by the COVID pandemic, followed by the massive destructive Typhoon of 2023. After that, Guam has never fully recovered, although it keeps trying. Today, businesses keep closing down, in what the Guam news media calls it a "mass exodus". Big luxury retailers like DFS (duty free shopping) and Hard Rock Cafe, local businesses like Hafaloha, Tony Roma's, and other restaurants are calling it quits. Unfortunately, many small businesses are struggling to stay afloat. And with tourism still being under 45% of what it used to be pre-pandemic, the future here is looking very dull. While some places can manage and stay up, others aren't taking their chances. So, come along for a walk through Guam's tourist zone of Tumon Bay to see the changes.
