Así es Aconquija (Catamarca) en la estación húmeda

In January 2026, we visited Aconquija, the valley nestled between the Aconquija and Narváez mountain ranges, through which the Río del Campo flows, located in the Andalgalá department of Catamarca province. We visited the alder forest belonging to the Yungas ecoregion in Yunka Suma, the Christ the Redeemer statue on a hill in El Lindero, and the Janaxpacha Huasi (or Wasi) planetarium from the town of Buena Vista.
