The Stewartstown Railroad New Freedom Special

Or...Riding Shotgun On the Stewartstown! Probably the most comprehensive Stewartstown RR of recent times! Complete with classic photo slide show! We begin in Stewartstown PA (obviously, I hope) on a great Saturday morning. After procuring our tickets, and after a little background info, we set out for New Freedom over a very Ma & Pa RR-like right-of-way. Not a bad ride at all, passing through fields, woods, farms, and peoples' backyards! Wouldn't have it ANY other way! Great scenery that Amtrak's Acela just can't compete with! Sorry, Amtrak! We'll also pass Pike Station and Susquehanna Trail, both featured in previous videos before finally arriving in New Freedom for our layover. We get a glimpse of NCRY #17 while we're there. Some scenes inside the station as well. Then, back to Stewartstown, where we fly at the breakneck speed of 15 mph-or somewhere thereabouts. Look out, Acela!!
