It was during a military ceremony that the new commander of Military Defense Zone No. 1, Colonel Major Aimé Fred Auvrey Nianga, officially assumed his duties. The ceremony was held under the patronage of the Chief of the General Staff of the Congolese Armed Forces (FAC), Major General Guy Blanchard Okoi.
