We're back digging in the dirt! After a long and cold winter, our first metal detecting hunt in this old farm field turned out to be amazing! It's a spot we tried before the snow came, and had some good finds, but the grass and brush was too long in most areas to swing through. Now that most of it was flattened from the snow, we metal detected areas we couldn't before. And right off the bat, an old silver coin came out of the ground that was the best we have ever found! Even in the worst condition, this coin is worth THOUSANDS! Join my wife Persis and I on a series of metal detecting adventures as we hunt all sorts of locations. Old homes and farm fields dating back to the 1700's and early 1800's. Cellar holes where old homes once stood. Ocean beaches in the winter when the ground is frozen and the snow is deep.
