Holley 4160 Vacuum Secondary Verification and Tuning
I have a Holley 4160 750 cfm vacuum secondary carburetor on my Chevy Camaro with a 396. I wanted to determine 1) if my vacuum secondaries were opening, and 2) at what engine speeds the secondaries start and complete opening. I then wanted to swap vacuum diaphragm springs to maximize secondary performance - seeking the lightest possible spring. This video shows the under-hood video system I developed to do these tests.
