Filipino Troops In The Golan Heights Praised For Their Bravery
The Armed Forces of the Philippines stands by the decision of its peacekeeping team in the Golan Heights to defy instructions from a United Nations commander. The Filipino soldiers claim they were ordered to surrender their weapons to Syrian rebels just before they managed to escape their adversaries. David Santos reports. Aired on Newsday Sept 2, 2014.
