KEYAKE TENYIMIA CHURCH REFUTES ALLEGATIONS, CONFIRMS INDEPENDENCE FROM BRC KOHIMA

Members of Tenyimia Keyake Church clarified to the media that they reject recent reports alleging the church's infrastructure was used for immoral activities, which date back to 1997. They announced plans to disassociate from the Baptist Revival Church (BRC) on February 19, 2025, confirming their status as an independent church. A subsequent meeting on February 22 with BRC Kohima did not yield results. On March 1, 2024, another meeting reaffirmed their independence, followed by a formal letter sent to BRC Kohima on March 7, 2025. Keyake Tenyimia also addressed land issues related to church property, providing evidence through an affidavit. 1. BRC Keyake Tenyimia Formed on 17th Nov 2006 at BRC Nepali. 2. On Nov 19th 2006 BRC Keyake Tenyimia started Sunday Service at BRC Nepali and BRC Kohima bless Kevi Yhome to oversee Tenyimia Keyake. 3. On 8th Oct 2010 ExSpeaker Zhovehü Lohe and his family donate a plot of land to established Keyake Tenyimia church. 4. On 27th Oct 2010 BRC Kohima Church elders came and blessed for the construction of Tenyimia Church. 5.On 20th Nov 2011 BRCC gave licenses to Kevi Yhome. 6.On 8th Dec 2011 Tenyimia Keyake Church had been dedicated by Rev Khriencilie Sachi. 7. Keneiso Belho construct the Church. 8. Prayer Centre starts on 2013. 9. We celebrate 10 years Jubilee on Dec 2015. 10.ExSpeaker Zhovehii Lohe and his family donated 3 times for the construction of Church. 11.On 6th Oct 2024 Pastor Kevi Yhome took a step down. 12.On 8th Oct 2024 we, BRC Keyake Tenyimia and BRC Kohima Church leader held a meeting at BRC Kohima and discuss the matters of Pastor Kevi Yhome. The matter was to be closed. 13.On 14th Nov 2024 BRC Kohima and BRC Keyake Tehyimia held meeting at Keyake. 14.From the month of Dec 2024 BRC Kohima sent Associate Pastor Vilhoubeilie and with two Deacons to serve at Keyake Tenyimia Church. 15.0n 19th Feb 2025 we held meeting to confirmed as an Independent Church. 16.On 22th Feb 2025 BRC Kohima and Keyake Tenyimia Church held a meeting for the discussion of church problem, but that day did not produce any result. 17.On 1st March 2024 BRC Kohima and Keyake Tenyimia held meeting for the confirmation of Keyake Tenyimia to be Independent Church and we wrote a letter to the BRC Kohima on 7th March 2025. 18. During Church construction many believers blessed the Church, Physically and Financially. 19.We refute the recent news report that our infrastructure were being used for immoral activities as stated by the News reporter. .
