I'm not here to play the victim or say I'm poor, no, I'M NOT POOR, just like you aren't either. Those who follow my motorcycle trips know the places I've been. But few know the story that brought me here. In this episode, I open my heart to tell a little about my family's journey. A story marked by changes, bankruptcies, new beginnings, and a lot of hard work. I tell how we left Goiás for Rondônia in search of a better life, the challenges we faced in the Amazon, the businesses that failed, the times we had to literally start from scratch, and how we ended up living under a black tarp to rebuild our lives. I also talk about my father, a man who dedicated his whole life to work, about the family business, the financial difficulties we faced, the debts, the times we almost lost everything, and the decision to honor every commitment, even when it seemed impossible. Many people ask how much I earn, what I do for a living, and how I manage to take these trips. Everything I experience today is the result of many years of struggle, sacrifices, mistakes, learning, and new beginnings. More than an episode about travel, this is a chapter about life.
