Hello~ This video documents my daily routine in a saltwater aquarium, where I reduced the nitrate level from 100 to around 2 in just three weeks, without any water changes. Anyone who has even a passing interest in saltwater fish or corals knows this method of removing nitrates: carbon source dosing. Carbon source dosing is usually effective quickly when the nitrate level is around 20-50, but it seems to take a long time to lower the nitrate level in a tank over 100. I pushed too hard and ended up with white turbidity, and it was a bit of a struggle... There were some sacrifices(?), but I was able to significantly reduce the nitrate level without any water changes.
