UAZ Patriot - Full Body Painting at FORMA We demonstrate the full restoration and painting process for a silver UAZ Patriot at our FORMA paint and body shop. We begin by disassembling the car: we remove the bumpers, lights, exterior handles, moldings, and other elements that interfere with proper body work. We sand down the old paint, expose problem areas to the bare metal, and eliminate defects and traces of corrosion. We pay special attention to the lower parts of the doors, sills, wheel arches, rear fenders, and apertures. After the body repair, we smooth the surfaces, apply a primer, and sand again, preparing the body for painting. The hood, fenders, and removable parts are treated separately to ensure even coverage of edges and hard-to-reach areas. The prepared car is sent to the paint booth. We apply the basecoat and clearcoat, then dry the body and inspect the surface quality. After painting, we reassemble the Patriot: install the headlights, taillights, grille, handles, trim, and other removed parts.
