What a ride! Join our group of 15 as we wrap up an epic motorcycle tour through France. On this final day, we’re carving our way toward Caen for the Brittany Ferries crossing back to the UK, but not before one last heavy dose of history. Our main stop is the Merville Battery Museum, an incredible site where we explore the original German casemates that were a primary D-Day objective. We get up close with legendary artifacts, including: The C-47 "SNAFU Special": A Douglas C-47 transport plane that actually took part in the D-Day airborne operations. Original Bunkers: Walking through the thick-walled fortifications that once housed massive artillery aimed at Sword Beach. Immersive Experience: The sound and light show inside Casemate No. 1 that recreates the intensity of the Allied assault. After soaking in the history, we hit the final stretch of road to the port.
