We had the privilege and honour to be among the first to check the fully ready Skyline before it was shipped off to the U.S. As each section is very detailed and in depth , it is split into 3 parts. Drive impressions, technical review , interview with the engine and drive train tuner MINES. Join us in this first part as we sit with Masa Kuji, one half of BBL directors as we get drive impressions on the open road and Touge. One of the weak points of a stock RB26DETT engine is its lack of response and insufficient low end torque. How will this 2.8 litre MINES tuned engine feel? The R32 chassis built and designed in the late 80s could not deliver the sharp response of the later models in stock form. The body of the BBL GT-R has been carefully reinforced by strategic spot welding to make full use of the 500PS engine. How will it feel?
