Drain and refill the DEF/AdBlue tank on a Jaguar XE - HOW TO!

Welcome back! In today's how to I will show you how to drain and refill DEF/AdBlue tank on a Jaguar XE. as well as take the DEF injector off and giving it a clean! We have had a couple of DEF related issues since we have picked up our jaguar and i'm hoping this may help others in the future! The early XE's in particular where extremely strict when it came to the quality of AdBlue used. there are ECU updates and parameters changed at the dealer which solve these issues! However, taking these steps may also help to remove such error messages listed below. This may help if you have accidentally put the incorrect specification of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) in to a jaguar/land-rover. this will cause errors such as "incorrect DEF quality detected" on the dash. by removing the DEF injector and cleaning it this may also help with the "DEF Dosing malfunction".
