As with all dried flowers, some “shedding” of the dried hydrangea is normal. I recommend dried hydrangea be displayed indoors to prevent shedding, however if displayed outdoors, protect from the elements and expect some shedding if disturbed, this is the nature of the product. I lightly mist mine twice a year, during the dry winters when the heat is on in the house. I feel it helps them to be more supple and shed less. Enjoy! Have a happy day! Barbara
