Hey house lovers and explorers! Another treat with today`s video where I take you around an absolutely great example of heavily influenced art deco stone build Tudor home. Built in 1939 for Adolph Gustav Bettcher and hid wife Dora Lilly it stayed within the family for 84 years right up until 2023 when it was sold and fell in to the hands of developers. Yes it`s fate sealed with it now demolished already. The Bettcher Family are a long time professional award winning orchid growers and grew them here within an extensive greenhouse that surrounded the home. A very iconic home as it sat right at the end of East ave on Grange Rd, Flinders Park. I have added a little bit of a back story regarding the history along with some very nice real estate pics.
