Beneath meters of alluvial deposits on the Adige River, in the Lower Padua area, a sanctuary of the ancient Veneti is emerging, which remained unknown until the construction of the new SR10 Var highway. The excavation is underway in Ponso, along the Veneto Strade roadworks, with investigations conducted under the scientific direction of the ABAP Superintendency for the provinces of Belluno, Padua, and Treviso.
