The Off-Beats: Betty Anne's Sprain

Since I had a pretty bad fall today and sprained my ankle, I thought I'd share my copy of another episode of "The Off-Beats" I enjoy, WITHOUT the foreign subtitles. It was taken from an actual VHS recording of a "KaBlam!" airing from some time in fall 2001, and I also had a lousy capture device at the time I transferred it to computer. When Betty-Anne Bongo sprains her wrist, she's depressed since she can't play her bongos. But the Popular kids get jealous of the huge "junkyard sundae" Grubby Groo makes for Betty-Anne, and fake being injured so they can get a sundae as well. But of course, unlike other adults, Grubby knows they're just faking being polite and that they're really mean. (C) 1997 Viacom; FAIR USE!
