Article about Vienna: https://poznajekraje.pl/2022/10/13/co... Vienna sightseeing is all about beautiful palaces and gardens, historic churches, and stunning townhouses. In this video, we'll show you Vienna's most popular attractions, worth seeing if you're planning a few days here. We'll start our tour of Vienna with Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens. This summer residence of the Habsburgs is one of Vienna's greatest attractions, boasting a whopping 1,441 rooms! Maria Theresa, Franz Joseph, and Empress Elisabeth once lived here—all the most important figures you'll surely hear about when planning your trip to Vienna. Besides Schönbrunn Palace, it's also worth seeing the public and private gardens, the orangery, the labyrinth, the coach house, the Palm House, the Desert House, and the Gloriette, as well as the world's oldest zoo, which is a Vienna attraction not only for children. According to our Vienna sightseeing plan, we will now head to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, the most beautiful Baroque church in the city. It was built after the plague epidemic in the 18th century. Another city attraction worth seeing during a weekend or a few days in Vienna is the Belvedere, a park and palace complex consisting of two buildings and a garden. The Belvedere houses an art gallery with paintings by artists such as Gustav Klimt. No visit to Vienna is complete without visiting at least one museum, and there are over 200 of them. If you're a fan of art, you absolutely must visit the Hofburg, as well as the Natural History Museum and the Kunsthistorisches Museum, housed in beautiful, monumental buildings. These museums hold true treasures, and even if you're only spending a weekend in Vienna, it's worth making time to visit one of them. The next stop on our Vienna sightseeing itinerary is the Museum Quarter, home to more than a dozen institutions related to art and culture. If you're wondering what else to see in Vienna, we're here to answer! Check out Vienna's Old Town and St. Stephen's Church, one of Vienna's most famous attractions. Admission is free, but a ticket is required to admire the city skyline from one of the towers. We recommend seeing the city from above, as it will make your Vienna sightseeing experience complete ;) If you're planning a weekend in Vienna, it's also worth visiting the City Hall, Parliament, and the Schlosstheater, which are impressive even from the outside. Not far away is the Vienna State Opera, one of the most famous opera houses in the world. It's one of Vienna's top attractions for classical music fans. Our Vienna sightseeing itinerary also includes modern architecture. The first place worth seeing in Vienna is the Hundertwasserhaus, a residential complex that features numerous solutions designed to escape straight lines and regularity. Now it's time for a lesser-known attraction in Vienna: the University of Economics and Business campus. If you enjoy interesting, modern architecture, be sure to visit these areas. While exploring Vienna, you'll undoubtedly encounter green spaces that balance the urban landscape. And they do, literally, as they cover roughly half the city's area. One of the most popular parks is the City Park with its golden statue of Johann Strauss Son. Here, you can relax after a busy day of sightseeing in Vienna and spend some time in nature. We also have to mention the world's oldest amusement park, the Prater, still in operation. It's worth knowing that the Prater offers more than just loud carousels, a Ferris wheel, and typical attractions, but also a vast park and a place for active recreation. Vienna's attractions are a never-ending story, as you'll find plenty of other places worth visiting in this city. However, if you're planning your first weekend trip to Vienna, this video will help you plan your own itinerary. #vienna #vieden #austria #citybreak #vacation #holiday #trip xxx Website: https://poznajekraje.pl/ Instagram: / poznajekraje Facebook: / poznajekraje xxx Information about the photos used: Dguendel, CC BY 4.0, https://bit.ly/3kdh8Wp RobertG, CC BY-SA 3.0, https://bit.ly/3Kuu4lm C.Stadler/Bwag, CC BY-SA 4.0, https://bit.ly/3ER87JJ Tudoi61, CC BY-SA 4.0, https://bit.ly/3ZbHqqJ Thomas Wolf, www.foto-tw.de, CC BY-SA 3.0 de, https://bit.ly/3ZdnHXK Böhringer Friedrich, CC BY-SA 3.0, https://bit.ly/41cyFi5 Greymouser, CC BY-SA 3.0, https://bit.ly/3IHwsTp Thomas Ledl, CC BY-SA 4.0: https://bit.ly/3IKQIob, CC BY-SA 3.0: https://bit.ly/3IlELnp Jorge Royan / http://www.royan.com.ar, CC BY-SA 3.0 Manfred Werner – Tsui, CC BY-SA 3.0, https://bit.ly/3xLn37Y Manfreeed, CC BY-SA 3.0, https://bit.ly/3xM1Lay Nicubunu, CC BY-SA 3.0, https://bit.ly/3Snwy75 Dr. Bernd Gross, CC BY-SA 4.0, https://bit.ly/3SkWG2a
