Hatina Musha Panyika (Beniah Lazalo Ft. Serene Kaseke)

The song is in the Shona Language of Zimbabwe. It talks about how this world is not our home and we're just passing through, our treasures laid upon somewhere beyond the blue. Every time you sing that song, you usually think about a funeral. Most of you you've got that on your mind right now. You probably heard it the last funeral you went to. Somebody you love had died, you wish you could have told them just one more time. I think of people releasing their loved ones, it's sorrow but it's a sweet sorrow 'cause we know there's rest. The bible says, "....Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from henceforth now and forevermore they rest from their labour, but their works follow them." They rest from their toil, they rest from their sweat but their works follow them. In other words, whatever they were working on follows them into the presence of God. ๐™ˆ๐™ช๐™จ๐™๐™– ๐™ช๐™ฃ๐™š ๐™ง๐™ช๐™ฃ๐™ฎ๐™–๐™ง๐™–๐™ง๐™ค ๐™‘๐™–๐™ฉ๐™จ๐™ซ๐™š๐™ฃ๐™š ๐™ซ๐™–๐™˜๐™๐™–๐™ฏ๐™ค๐™ง๐™ค๐™ง๐™– ๐˜ฟ๐™–๐™ž ๐™ฃ๐™™๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™š ๐™ข๐™–๐™ฅ๐™–๐™ฅ๐™ž๐™ง๐™ค ๐™‰๐™™๐™–๐™ž๐™ช๐™ฎ๐™– ๐™ฃ๐™™๐™ž๐™ฏ๐™ค๐™ง๐™ค๐™ง๐™š ๐™‰๐™™๐™–๐™ž๐™ช๐™ฎ๐™– ๐™ฃ๐™™๐™ž๐™ฏ๐™ค๐™ง๐™ค๐™ง๐™š Can't you see a mother rocking her little baby, almost lifeless body. The doctor says she's really brain dead there's nothing we can do...and the mama says can I just hold her one more time please before you take her, tears rolling down her cheeks and her only consolation is to know that that baby who has laboriously breathed and struggled for her last breath now is finding rest beyond that river... We're just pilgrims and strangers in this world. We're seeking a city to come whose Builder and Maker is GOD, believing we have a better HOME. We belong with God and with Him we can find real peace, rest, relief from our worldly troubles. When we lose our loved ones we should know they are going to that special place. We must not feel too sad for them although we grieve and miss them.
