Gig Work Made Me Desperate

Day 16 of trying to make $10,000 in 28 days using Amazon Flex, Walmart Spark, and whatever gig apps pay. This turned into the slowest day of the entire challenge. I started at 3:30 AM with a four-hour Amazon Flex route that paid $136. After that, I spent hours waiting for Walmart Spark orders, stopped to help two drivers stranded with flat tires, completed a 50-item triple shopping order, and accepted a $72.62 delivery going 44 miles. By the end of the night, my gas light had already been blinking for multiple orders. The nearest gas station was closed, but instead of going home, I accepted another shopping order going 13.5 miles. The longer the day went on, the more desperate my decisions became.
