Today, simply putting together a spec sheet full of numbers is no longer enough to truly stand out: you need a product with its own identity, clear strengths, and a solid experience that works well every day. And that's precisely where this smartphone aims to make its mark. In this review, we analyze the realme 16 Pro+, starting with the aspects that matter most in real-world use: design, display, performance, software, camera, and battery life. The device focuses heavily on photography, thanks to a convincing main camera and, above all, a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens that is still rare in this price range. This is precisely one of the elements that gives the phone a more distinct personality, especially for those who love portraits, details, and slightly more creative shots. The 7,000 mAh battery is also very impressive, allowing the realme 16 Pro+ to offer truly solid battery life in everyday use. Added to this are a well-balanced Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, a pleasant-to-use 6.8-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, and a more refined than average design, thanks in part to the collaboration with Naoto Fukasawa. This isn't a smartphone that relies entirely on brute force, but rather a product that seeks balance, continuity, and a healthy dose of character. Of course, it's not perfect: the ultra-wide-angle is the least successful module in the segment, the multimedia audio is good but not excellent, and the video stabilization can still be improved. However, overall, realme has built one of the most interesting and pleasant mid-range phones to date.
