Core Doctrine: Gong Thought and Dependent Origination When the wind blows, waves arise, and when the wind disappears, the waves disappear. In this way, wind and waves are dependent origination. The ocean is Gong Thought. Gong (emptiness) is not empty, but is always full. Gong Thought is something that does not change, does not disappear, and always exists. This Gong Thought is a philosophy brought by the Living Buddha, Medicine Buddha, and Maitreya Buddha, who came to the Saha world, and is a philosophy completely different from the empty Gong of Shakyamuni Buddhism. When the wind blows, waves arise, and when the wind disappears, waves disappear. The wind and the waves are dependent origination. The ocean is Gong Thought. Prohibition of the notation ‘Empty (空)’ The concept of emptiness is not the existing Buddhist concept of empty space (空). Therefore, the use of the Chinese character ‘空’ is prohibited, and it must be written only as Gong Thought. Gong Thought is not emptiness. The use of ‘空’ is prohibited.
