PORSCHE 718 CAYMAN 2.0 REVIEW | Does a turbo and a four cylinder engine ruin this iconic sports car?

The Cayman and Boxster have become hugely successful models for Porsche alongside the 911, and a key ingredient to this was the characterful and razor sharp flat six engine. Due to pressure from EU regulations, and the endless war on speed and emissions, Porsche were forced to introduce smaller turbocharged four cylinder boxer engines to improve economy, which didn't go down well with Porsche enthusiasts. This review talks about the positives and negatives of the new 4 cylinder unit, in particular the noise, but also an emphasis on the increased torque, which actually aids it's day to day usability.
