Ambient Trek: The Trappist System, Episode 1

Relax with 37 minutes of Trek-themed ambient music while Starfleet fights to establish a foothold in the Trappist system. Chapter 1 — The Blockade of Trappist-1D (0:00 – 7:30) Chapter 2 — Starbase 89 and the Defense of the Colony (7:30 – 14:00) Chapter 3 — The Klingon Warlord and Trappist-1E (14:00 – 23:30) Chapter 4 — New Threats and a Second Fleet (23:30 – 29:47) The campaign opens badly — an Ambassador-class flagship is lost during the colonization of the first planet, and Trappist-1D falls immediately under Maquis blockade. The newly launched Galaxy-class USS Enterprise leads a strike on the blockading force: Yager-class capital ships, Peregrine-class fighters, and Ju'day-class raiders. One Yager is destroyed before the Enterprise is forced to withdraw and restore shields. Starbase 89, deployed under fire, finishes the work — stripping the remaining Maquis capital ships of their escorts and holding the line long enough to secure the colony. Trappist-1D is defended. The Excelsior-class USS Potemkin launches and takes up the defense of the home world at Trappist-1C. A second engagement follows — the fleet meets a Klingon warlord's forces over Trappist-1E: ten B'rel-class Birds of Prey and five K'vort-class cruisers. The Galaxy class runs circles around the Klingon formation, using all-arc phaser coverage and superior maneuverability to keep the enemy out of position while the Excelsiors press the attack. The episode ends with Trappist-1C, 1D, and 1E held — and a second fleet assembled, with the pirate threat still unresolved. The Nebula class enters service.
