Ballisti-Cast Mark X Bullet Casting Machine Prototype
We're casting a .41 cal. 210 grain SWC. We timed the machine at just over 3000, 210 grain bullets per hour. The machine with 4 molds, 2 fans, and a 100 pound lead pot can keep up at the 3000 bullet/hour rate easily, as it's the same set up as what's on the Mark II auto-matic machine that does well over 3000/hr. What will determine actual speed is how fast and how long you can pull the lever for. Almost any type of mold can be adapted to go on the machine. Magma style molds are the only ones that require no machining to make them work. The machine also works with Ballisti-Cast hollow point molds.
