The "Rose Gold" AWG-M100 G-Shock Fire Package 2022 In Depth Review

I already had a bunch of color variations of the AWG-M100 but I just couldn't resist getting another one. I'm very familiar with the watch and with the larger GAW-100 and the G-Steel GST-W110D, which operate in exactly the same way although they are larger watches with better backlights. The bottom line: I'm a true fan of these watches, including those larger variations. But did I really need to buy another one? Sure, why not? The newer "Champaign Gold" version for 2023 was already announced for release in Japan so I figured if I was ever going to buy the 2022 version then I'd better act sooner rather than later. The AWGM100 has all of my favorite G-Shock functions and features. Specifically, these watches each feature Casio's Tough Solar power system, Multiband 6 to allow for automatic "atomic time" synchronization, 200 Meter water resistance, a world time mode, a one-hour stopwatch, a countdown timer for up to 100 minutes, an hourly signal, five daily alarms, a not-impressive LED backlight with an automatic option AND that a G-Shock toughness we've all come to expect. Wow! I found a genuine Casio bracelet for this watch which I was able to purchase either from PacParts.com in California or from Watchway.co.uk in the UK. I admit it's a hassle of a task to replace the watch band with one of Casio's bracelets but I was able to do it on a few of these watches already and I'm very happy with the bracelet option. Yes, it'll set you back around $100 (and maybe prices are jumping up and down a bit these days) but that's up to you. I was happy with the results of paying that price and dressing up my watches.
