He has been known for his Russian connections and has many short stories and novels to his credit. ‘Oru Sankeerthanam Pole’ is the story of the writer ‘Dostoyevsky’ and his stenographer Anna. Sreedharan beautifully portrays the story of both with great emotion. The plot of the story is Dostoyevsky is appointing Anna to speed up his writing. Anna finds him as an alcoholic and a gambler. She helps him to complete the story of the book ‘The Gambler’. At the end Anna falls in love with Dostoyevsky understanding the inner characteristics of his life and the mental and emotional stress they undergo while in love.
