However, Sienkiewicz changed his name to Jurko and portrayed him as a hero torn between war and his love for the beautiful Helena. In reality, the fate of the literary Bohun differs from the historical figure of Ivan Bohun, a Cossack colonel. I invite you to learn the tragic story of the real Bohun.
