35028 Clan Line & D1015 Western Champion on tour around Devon!
A busy day on the rails around Devon with two railtours in the same county on the same day, first to appear was D1015 Western Champion hauling the 'Golden Hind' from London Paddington to Plymouth operated by Vintage Trains Secondly, it was 35028 Merchant Navy Class Clan Line assisted by West Coast Railways 47802 hauling the 'Atlantic Coast Express' from London Waterloo to Exeter St Davids, operated by Railway Touring Company & West Coast Railways, with the outward path running along the Southern route via Yeovil, while the return path to Waterloo ran up the Great Western main line via Bristol to avoid the need for turning the steam locomotive Both locomotives performed extremely well despite the unexpectedly warm temperatures! I also captured a few passenger services in between including some of the newly refurbished Crosscountry voyagers in the new livery which I am definitely a big fan of as it certainly stands out more than the previous livery, especially when filming or taking photos of them Thankyou for watching & I hope you enjoy the video! Please don't forget to Like & Subscribe for plenty more content to come and as always, thankyou for all the continued support, really appreciate it!
