Balcony Glazing Systems - Training Program - Assembly
Assembly is made according to the production plan obtained from “Glass Balcony Drawing Program”. The Outlook is assumed to be out of the balcony from the inside and the values are considered accordingly. Top and bottom base profiles are cut according to the measures given in the production plan. First Cutting Angle indicates the left and the second cutting angle indicates the right side of the profile. Locking wheels are assembled to the side where the glass panels are slid and collected. Locking wheels and the screws are adjusted to the very end of the base profile, and the screws are tightened with allen wrench. Plain wheels are assembled on the other side of the profiles, but their screws are not tightened. For opening panels and outlet panels, plain wheels are assembled instead of hinge, while the lux lock is assembled to the other side. Pile weatherstrip is placed into the channels under the base profile, and is cut as long as the base cover caps. After assembling the base caps, excess weatherstrip is cut and the length of the weatherstrip is equalized to the profile. Then the weatherstrip channel is tightened to prevent sliding. Side column profiles are cut in line with the production plan. Then the frame profiles are cut in line with the production plan. First cutting angle is the left side, while the second cutting angle is the right side of the profile. It is important to keep in mind that the Outlook is assumed to be out of the balcony from the inside. Side column profiles are assembled to the end of the frame profile. Prepared base profiles are installed in the frame in the right order. The point of the outlet is determined and marked on the frame profile. Base profiles are separated back again. Marked outlet is cut and opened. Then the outlet plastic is assembled on the frame. Side column profile is removed from the frame profile. Then the brake is placed in the frame. After that, the opening base profile, hinge of the brake and side column profile are placed in the frame in the right order. The rest of the base profiles are placed in the frame one by one in the right order. Plain wheels are adjusted to enable the glass panels to open and their screws are tightened. Connection points of the base profiles are drilled for installation. Finally, the glass panels are laid down on the workbench. Top and bottom base profiles are glued to the glass panels. Height of the glass panels is measured one by one, and deviations from are corrected either form top or bottom according to installation preference. Either top or bottom is held constant while the other side is being adjusted. The glass panels are left for drying at least for 24 hours.
