HAVER, short documentary video, Hungary (English subtitles)
Haver is a Hungarian organisation working to build dialogue between Jewish and non-Jewish young people through informal education. Through school programmes, workshops, guided activities, and peer-led conversations, Haver creates spaces where students can ask questions, meet young Jewish educators, and engage with Jewish identity, history, and contemporary Jewish life in an open and accessible way. Its work is rooted in the belief that personal encounters can challenge stereotypes and reduce prejudice. By creating opportunities for direct dialogue, Haver helps address antisemitic attitudes and supports a more informed, curious, and open-minded generation. This video was created in the context of TRACE’s work on antisemitism in Hungary. TRACE monitors and analyses antisemitism and antigypsyism in Central Europe, connecting documentation with historical context, community perspectives, and educational approaches.
